Create piles
To make it easier to sort through what you should keep and what you should get rid of, you should make three piles. Make a garbage pile, donate pile, and a junk pile. This way, when you begin sorting, you don’t have to feel so wasteful. Your garbage pile will be clear, these are items like used paper plates, candy wrappers, food or anything else that can’t be donated or recycled
Next, you’ll have your donated pile. Who you donate this pile to is ultimately up to you. It could go to Goodwill, the Salvation Army or your neighbor down the street. Either way, if you’re decluttering your closet and you come across clothing that can still get some good wear out of it, you don’t have to worry about being wasteful.
Finally, you have your junk pile, or perhaps you can’t even make a pile. Junk can be overwhelming in a space and why individuals often delay cleaning out certain rooms. However, junk removal can help you feel refreshed and invigorated. Waste removal companies typically remove the following items:
- Furniture
- Television
- Yard waste
- Appliances
- Hot tubs
- E-waste
- Mattresses
- Refrigerators
- Construction
If you have any of these items that are too large for you to handle, calling a junk or waste management removal company can help tremendously.
